That makes sense Counsellor. Maybe the further away we get from a common sense way of life, the more it wakens an instinct in the back of the mind that this is not the way to go..

That pretty much sums it up for me as well

Agreed......... yes I enjoy it, yes it gives me a sense of independence and self reliance and yes Lil, every day, something tells me life is slowly heading to a big blender and I want to try and stay two steps ahead or preferably two steps behind anyone else!! Prepping to me means the difference between me and mine living or dying in an emergency or whilst being dragging towards the blades of that big f*** off blender!

It's fun to learn, and to occasionally to teach, and if it gives me and mine an edge to cling to then why not.
