Hoping to share some info... I was very impressed by the website for Skinth Solutions, a guy in the US who makes custom micropacks. The website is currently down for maintenance (it was pretty, but useless to navigate...) Hopefully it will be back soon.

I first came across this site via LifeHacker in this article: http://lifehacker.com/skinth-pocket-she ... 1479426077. The idea of compact modular storage jumps out as a perfect EDC to me. It can me made and modified to your specifications dependant on what you actually need to carry for emergencies. Personally, I have a Maxpedition bag as my Go-Bag (Or Man-Bag as my OH refers to it!). The idea of a small sheath such as the Shinth means an option for a true EDC and an "Out and About" EDC which allows me to carry my sandwiches along with bigger emergency supplies without compromising anything.
Once the site comes back online, have a browse (or if you want to cheat, see an archived version here: http://web.archive.org/web/201310180013 ... utions.com)

Re: EDC by Skinth?
They look awesome, and i'm acking for the TB. But with taxes from the US, it'll roughly twice the price in denmark. (12.5% import tax and 25% sales tax (laid on postage aswell )). If a dealer imports it to the EU = no tax, only postage and the dealers earnings. I'm trying to be patient...
