The bottles in ASDA have a shelf life until August 2015 , but in a dark place they will be good for much longer.

5 liters of water per a person per a day is the recommended minimum, Two for drinking and cooking the rest for personal hygiene. Water does not have a use by date, the seal on the bottle does.
