A fair point even on relatively open ground you could landscape around one building a mound all around one and planting trees on and in the mound, the container would become completely hidden before long, especially if you did much of the work beforehand, munitions are stored at air bases in a similar way to contain the hazard, so the same thing should work to keep a container clear of blast, I've been in two minds for a while about bunkers being ready made tombs, sure you would want to be down there in a tornado or air raid, yet there are many scenarios where you've simply backed yourself into a corner.
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.
