Border off your plot and throw some slow worms in - they will eat ALL of the slugs, they go mental for them.

Firstly of course you've got to get some slow worms. :?:

My French Beans were bean (see what I did there?) hammered by slugs earlier this year. I sprinkled used coffee grounds all over the bed. It worked, eventually, but you need access to lots of coffee grounds so make friends with your local coffee shop, if you can.

I've seen used coffee grounds bagged up and free to take in some chain coffee shops. You just help yourselves.
