I don't know what they are lol, I have left them out til the summer thought nature would take its course. I do go to Dungeness every so often although I am closer to the kent downs AONB which I prefer (nice long walks, etc.)

So you are more North.
I spend quite a bit of time in Kent taking part in various projects etc ..... Although, I am not actually from Kent.

Fair enough....
If they are sealed with mud they will be Mason Bees...and if plant material, Leafcutters.
If you grow Roses...the Leafcutters like them.

Plant material so they are definitely leafcutters :)

If you want to keep bees join your local beekeeping club. They will help you with all of your training for the various exams you can do. I have just joined my local one.

It's not as easy as buying a hive and then bees will appear.

There is also beekeeping for idiots which is quite good. There are also large amounts of videos online.

Bees will go into your polytunnel if it is open during the warmer weather.
