We had a Renault van for about 5 years, it had a hammering went everywhere lots of rough gravel tracks, snow, (even up a coal tip), only problems with it were brake pads and a throttle cable. Parts were cheap too.

My green machine is a duster diesel, I loves it.
I got the 2wd version as I couldn't be bothered with the extra faff and tax for the 4x4, but she still handles Salisbury plain tank tracks admirably. She is a keeper.
Guinness drinker with a prepping problem.

Well had it a year now nothing has fallen off or broken had it upto it's wading depth no issue across fields and farms with no issue last weekend got it out of a show car park (muddy field) where others were getting towed out under its own steam
If your roughing it, Your doing it wrong ;)

Lack of planning on your part doesn't make it an emergency on mine
