I met a guy on holiday who was from Canada. He said if his dad walked out of his back door and kept heading north, he wouldn't meet another human until he hit the North Pole.
I stayed witrh some friends in Canada for a couple of months a few years back. British Columbia is an amazing place but very wet. They will not have ot worry about water when the SHTF.

That place looks amazing. I would love to live off the grid and it wouldn't take a lot of money to do it.
