Hi all ok i will try and make better posts in future , i hoped it was a fair review but again happy to take pointers onboard .

I am going to be testing it out when health and weather permits in the garden with my trangia burner with the bio fuel in that i can tell you it got blooming hot fast in the kitchen i mean the burner did .

I am hoping it will when put in the bottom of the kelly and with a little breeze blowing in the vent hole at the bottom cauyse a sort of rocket stove effect we shall see lol , yup we old boy scouts are always looking to multi purpose tools lol " tom good did that in the good life his good old fork was a great hammer " lol

Try wood cat litter pellets ;)

Or bits of nextdoors fence.

I've often be wondered how many hot mugs of mud you can offer a neighbor before they realise your using their "really expensive" new party fence that's made out of saw falling grade 7 timber if she's lucky  (yes I know there's no grade 7 it's that erm poo quality )

I picked up a Swiss Army volcano stove for a fiver in a Bushcraft bring and buy which is small (500ml boiing cup) but effective, especially with alcohol gel. Yikes though - I have just seen someone on ebay selling these for £60 :o

My view I can cook ,boil water on my hobo stove , cost nill just about 40/50 minutes transforming a paint tin into one .
I also have larger metal containers that if needed could be made into a larger hobo that could take a 12ins frying pan or pot.

My hobo isn't used that often so it's left outside in the garden and has been given a dab of old car oil to keep off the rust ,it could be waiting for me at a bugg out /camping spot.

Cheers andy , gilly and vit , all the heads up are real good , i do plain on using hte stove with wood andy i have stocks of kindling chopped ,don't ask i make my own fat wood as well as i buy in the 10lb boxes when i get a good deap say £10 of 10lb wink wink , i make my fatwood and so as i say have huge amounbts of 4 inch pallet thick planks chopped , ALWAYS CHECK THE PALLET FOR A PESTICIDE STAMP ,that was a note to myself to lol as one pallet i chopped up and burnt on the chimnea one year the wife and i sat there cooking ourselves under the bbq area and the smell got s bad we had to come in and it was only when someone pointed out there is a stamp on them to tell you if treated so now i look lol .

Thanks for the heads up on using the solid fuel blocks the reason i was thinking of the trangia burner was the fact it fits in theb ase nicely for storage and if i can het the water with it ie if the grouds round me are wet or i pull up to a place and no wood or it is night i could use the stove if it works that is the main point trying to see if i can multi purpose it , i can cook over it and so on but i just like hte idea of testing things to the shall we say breaking point lol i think you guys and girls know what i mean by that just test to the max usage .

Ok well i am sort of having a health time all be it on pain meds but i can function on low doses so it is work day in the poly tunnel and seed sowing and if the rain holds off i will pop 6 of the new strawberry plants in the new bed they are sheltered but been grown on in the tunnel so want to harden them to the bed now and see how they fair before putting the rest in the bed .

Thanks again andy i did not know a review had been done but nice job mate
