OK, I succumbed...... I'm now the owner of three No12's 
In my defence, I'm only keeping one and I'll flip the other two (eBay prices are around £250 for untested ones..... Some of which could be missing parts! ).
I'll check seals and do a test burn on the ones I'm letting go so hopefully I'll get a decent price and mine will be nearly free
I've found Classic Stove Forum, any other suggestions where I can find info about these beasties?

If you get fed up with the noise, the silent burner caps available on ebay are well regarded and very effective. But I prefer the full acoustic experience!

Just had a test burn on one...... Absolute Beast.
If I'm reading the serial numbers right, I've got two '04's and an '05...... Or at least thats when the cases entered stores.
It seems I have two with dicky Non-return valves, its very difficult to push them home and lock them even when the fuel cap is off.
I'm away this weekend (and taking the Monster with me for tea-duty) but I think I can fix this issue (CCS forum to the rescue), I'll update when they're fixed.... If only to show off.
From what I've seen so far, I think they are a great stove. Built like the tanks that carried them, simple to use and easier to get going then my paraffin blowtorch.... Price was the only problem, but I got lucky.
I can buy kero from a pump at one of my local petrol stations, I've got a couple of gallons of meths and bio-eth and Monster will eat diesel too.
Snow: I like the fact that it sounds like a doodlebug when its running at full whack
