One of my Tutors at college was a Vegan, she came from Northen Ireland where she had been a Nurse, now a Complementary Therapist, also a Bio Chemist, and a few more letters after her name that I can't recall, she was my God! If she said it was so, then to me it so! She used to say in class, this is what ITEC say, and this is what I say, and you can make up your own minds.
She would eat a few grams of Liver once a month, and eat it rare! to get the heem iron, and she was a very strict Vegan.

So what do we think of Breatharians?

I met a girl years ago, who claimed she had tried for a while but it nearly killed her,at the time I met her she gone slighty bonkers, she might have been a bit bonkers before, but I was told it was a side effect of what she done. I'm not saying I believe in it, but she went from eating to nothing but just water in a few months, so no wonder!
From what I've read the people that claim they live on nothing but air, have cut things out over a life time, so meat would be 1st to go and so on. I wonder! :)

I used to be a Hunt Saboteur in my youth, most of them were vegan's, a couple of veggies like me, but a couple would only eat fallen fruit...they wouldn't even pick a fruit off a tree :D I dont know how they managed in winter, they must have stored a lot of fruit.

Being a breatharian would definitely be useful when tshtf  Unfortunately I just don't have the willpower to try and absorb all my nutrients from fresh air alone. I'm afraid I need something a bit more solid in my tummy

breatharians :-)
living in the light, my arse!
liars and fakes, every one of them!
yeah, fasting as a now-and-then thing is beneficial in many circumstances but a sustained life without food? these people are clearly deranged :-)
i imagine a lot of folk say that about us vegans, how we must be mad.
but really. breatharians.

A question for you vegans then.... if the S ever did HTF, how could you possibly get enough food to subsist on ? Would you not just eat whatever there was until you got sorted? or would you prefer to die with intact principles? Not nasty in any way - just asking !
