I thought Duct tape was expensive compared to other tape you can struggle to find that for a pound a roll. I feel tape should be an inexpensive item so i will pass.
I used 'Proper' branded Duck Tape to hold a car bumper on the other day. I also used a cheap Poundland brand. Worlds apart!

Most certainly a case of getting what you pay for.
Yep, the fact that you need this stuff to do its job I'd not trust the cheap stuff. Would you want to abseil down a cliff face using poundland string?

I do not waste money, but age and experience have taught me that quality is worth the cash. I use Nalgene bottles. Made in the USA. OK £7 each- tough and easy to clean. Genuine Swiss Army knives. Victorinox- I have used this brand for thirty years professionally and it is reliable. The list goes on, but you get the idea.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

I remember an episode of Mythbusters where they lifted a whole car using only a few strands of duck tape connected to a crane. Incredible. If Gorilla tape beats that then its defo worth getting. Ive heard of gorilla glue but never gorilla tape. Is it made by the same people??
