I have considered the same myself. I am also conscious of UK law.

Saying that the UK law doesn't prevent you preparing to use pepper spray. For example ihave a number of bhut jolokia peppers, an empty spray container and water on tap.

If i needed to make some pepper spray I could. Not that i have made some or i plan to but I could.

That's what being prepared is about I guess.

I hope they don't make possession or growing of chili's illegal. :lol:

UK law as it stands makes it an offence to possess pepper spray however it also is an offence to "project any Noxious substance" and you can be prosecuted under the firearms laws for using or intending to use. This includes wasp spray if you posessed it with the intent to protect yourself or your property.
So make sure if you do have wasp spray in the house . . . that you have a witness that can confirm that you were indeed "using it on wasps just the other day which is how it is sitting on the kitchen shelf"
