If it can be set on fire then you can use it :D

"Optimystic" - 5 grand to drill a hole and put a chimney through it? The guy is out of his head! Call your local builders and they will do it for you for a couple hundred or even just ask them to make the hole and then I'm sure you would be able to put the chimney through and insulate it, it's dead easy.

That is exactley what I thought!.. 5k!!! No Chance!

Might try out the builder idea.. get them to do it then just get the right person in to sign it off?

hi, on the subject of stoves, does anybody know how easy is it to un-convert a Rayburn from oil back to wood and is it something i could do myself?
