ive been thinking about shipping container homes . ive also been looking at static caravans .
statics have everything in them that you could need , so why go to the trouble and expense of converting a container when you can just put a caravan inside .you can get older ones for a few hundred quid . makes it more secure and less obvious . cut holes for the windows and door and these can double up as security screens.

after a little more research , it turns out that shipping containers are only 8ft wide , thats another good idea shot down :roll:

Ive just spent 5days at my bug out home [containers] ironing out a few problems,and i can honestly say it was warm and comfortable,i need some more solar panels as it wasnt quite pushing out the power i need,and i need a bit advice on muffling a generator that was far to noisy, but apart from that it was all good

you put the generator in a smaller container thats buried , the earth silences it

Hi, cud you put a small barn or large shed ontop of it with an access hatch down to the container? Not so suspicious to go into a workshop regularly (then sneak into your underground lair!!) :)
