I taped the show and only watched it this afternoon - was pretty impressed with it cause it didn't make us out to be too much of a nutter

Liked the lady who had all the condoms and lube - yip, she has all her bases covered.

My husband and I just watched it online this evening. Wasn't too bad although I wish the producers would stop insisting on making the people out to be preparing for one thing!

That is my biggest issue with the show, everbody's preps will prove usefull on many occasions, before and regardless of whether TSHTF occurs in any scenario which would effect a whole country ever happens. Doomsday prepping even if it is what initially grabs one's attention, is by no means what it is all about, here we have people who are very well prepared who may well talk about the worst case scenarios, but their prepping has practical applications which are much more common place, which is the way in, for we can't all afford to commit thousands of pounds for "may never happen" but for many probably will happen scenarios as simple as power cuts, bad winters, or bad health, unemployment, are enough incentive to get a foot on the ladder, the show would do well to reflect that.
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.

I think the three guys came out real well on the show. I liked seeing the families and how the children were involved.

WOW what a great idea  (don't everyone shout at me please). I just thought it would be intresting to see young prepers and get there point of view across rarther than all the adult doomsday :tinfoil preppers with there masks and guns. I've been asked to appear on it but in not sure as it didn't quite paint us in the right light, i want to share and chat maybe in a conference or something but not on Nat geographic, i think that should be a target for preppers to meet, share ideas abit of fun and learning anyone agree?
