I live on a block off 160 odd houses and i try to attend most tenants association meetings , however we only get an average attendance of 5 or 6 people, we run educational themes like benefits advice, healthy eating, fire safety , our sense of community came from the local pubs but sadly they have also deteriorated .... ordered 2 shirts of jacamo card saying neighbor had signed for it last wed ... still not got em :( thats my neighbours

I live in a tiny village on its own and we have a good community spirit here. Neighbours nearly all muck in and help clearing snow and gritting.. and a few years ago when my husband was rushed to hospital with a heart attack, the people over the road came over with a new unopened pair of pyjamas for him in case he didn't have any  - plus the whole street had to push the ambulance as it got stuck in the snow
