Lets not go down this road, this is why prepping gets a bad name, people think we are like the clowns on NatGeo, If any of you are considering raiding other preppers supplies or locations, go ahead.It may work for a short while, but there is always someone badder than you, and you always respect your enemies abilities.
The sensible option is to trade,(info,surplus supplies,skills etc) that way you can go back to other preppers on a regular basis.
I personally have small amounts of supplies, enough for a short time, but I have military training,first aid training,self defense training etc.I would rather help others and have allies when I need them, than have a load of people looking for pay back.

It was just a question on an open forum, doesn't matter if I have 5 posts (6 now) or 5000. Just a question to spark some discussion so I can gauge others opinions on the matter.Reservior wrote:We've been here before havnt we? With James MR. Controversial question. There are other ways to gauge the mentality of the preppers on this forum.

As a newbie myself some people are very rude, it was a simple question maybe miss guided none of you know his skills or preps or what he might offer, this is a Internet forum not the army how about less of the looking down noses and snorting and help each other out.

I don't think I would become a raider of other preppers BOL, but I think there will be a time when everyones stores are depleted, and after a failed harvest or animal stock die off that it would be necessary to look further afield to either sustain ourselves or our families or more if we have a small group going.
Depending what the cause was and how many are still surviving. Up until that time I would try trading skills for assistance.
