Reminds me of my own experiences:

People look at me as if I'm mad!

Haha love that FB message thats great. Would love it to happen :)

I read that link and so true, I also carry a light in my pocket now and multi tool on me and one in my car. I bet today you will see people in the snow with t-shirt on or just wrong clothes, infact you should count it... If you got enough fingers haha

Working on a building site at the moment. Sites can be very hostile for 'outsiders' I gave my gloves to a freezing digger driver on day one and the look of amazement on his face that someone would help someone else out! I have to say I was a little peeved, guy dissapeared with my fairly pricey gloves, hasnt given them back and hasnt been seen since. Oh well!

On the odd occasion I have had to change a spare tyre or helped someone else to do so, its amazing the amount of people who look at you as if your weaving Black magic. Its all there people, underneath all your crap in the boot!

I once damaged my hand badly and had to instruct some of my friends how to change the tyre on our vehicle. It was like hurding cats. I then had to drive it home 95 miles one handed!

Good on you for passing on some common sense. Especially in weather like this, we all need to stick together.
