What does it taste like?????
From their FAQ
Our freeze-dried foods are easy to prepare-just add hot water...wait 10 minutes...and eat! If a heat source is not available, room temperature or cold water can be used, too.
After opening, we recommend using the contents within 1 to 2 weeks for best results and taste; using the convenient resealable plastic lid between uses. Treat any leftover food as you would fresh food.
As for taste....Not a clue

I can carry three days of food in my back pack with some water included plus ways to purify more, there is pretty much no where in the UK that is more than 8 miles from civilisation.
Also what bug out situation in the UK is going to be so severe that you won't be able to get to a shop to stock up en-route?
As I have said before, most bug out plans in the UK should be for a very little time, a few days at most, and most likely to a friend or relative or if really necessary an hotel or B&B possibly as far away as the next town.
Don't forget that even if your house burns down you still likely to have to go to work in the morning.
in a nutshell total rip off . so are the ex army ration packs there ex army for a reason because the long shelf lifes gone or near gone would not tuch them if thay was a £1 each.
Rat packs are goods for years after the BBF date , managed to get a hold of the old tinned ones (bacon grill ) and i am still here , but i must admit a sneeky loving to US MRE's , but have a love for Lidl's Bacon Grill , all i need is a packet of biscuits brown. YUM
Be Prepared.
Plan like its the last loaf on the shop shelves.
Plan like its the last beer in the fridge.

The old ones were really good long term, they used to have dehydrated curry in the ones my dad brought home. He used to put the packs in the car and live off shop bought stuff which he prefered
I ate bacon grill for three days worth of breakfasts, the fourth morning we got to see what it looked like, thankfully you don't have to see it to like it
Biscuits AB with Primula spread are great and Biscuits Fruit are almost pudding, have loads of both in store, and if nothing else they make good chocks for the car when on ramps
I'm sure there's a thread (or two) knocking about somewhere,
'possible SHTF events'....that you can’t get out of by 'bugging out' to the local premier inn.

Big pandemic perhaps?
Where can you run away too from a pandemic? Best place is at home or at work and taking precautions.
Is there anything on Probable SHTF events? That really leave no other option than to run away for more than a week?
Real proper ones, not silly little ones like asteroid dropping on the country or similar!
Lol I love how you said not like asteroids landing on the country haha, just good timing that comment
AREA 8 we shall defend our island, what ever the cost may be,we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds,we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills, we shall never surrender.
