Fruit leathers are for soft fruit aren't they ?

You can also use frozen veg to dehydrate. Peas, beans, sweetcorn and small cut veg. It's great because you don't need to steam blanch.

You can also make vegetable leathers. Pumpkin(or squash) and tomato make great leathers.

Ooo I'd never thought of dehydrating food... I think I might have to have a go at it. Is it true the fruits/veg rehydrate to roughly twice their original size so you only really need to use half a cup where you'd normally use a whole cup in recipes?
