I love books and have a good collection myself but I just want to keep some books that I could find useful on y tablet. In case you have to leave the house for a while, few titles like the manual to repair your own car (I am not a mechanic but might have to be!), basic engineering stuff, maps.... a lot of think that put together would take a lot of space and bloody weight!! For the documents, I agree you need to have some paper copies with you but if your organise yourself a bit it would only take few minutes to grab a folder on your way out. At my work, I keep a folder by the office door with employees info, weekly rota, numbers for head office and officials etc.... came very handy a few years back when I had to leave in emergency as some nuts job park a car with explosive by Tiger Tiger in London!
