I'm higher up though I think. My garden's been frozen solid for weeks, nothing doing out there at all. Usually start tatties mid/end April at earliest, we can't do earlies. I wish I lived in the south of France lol

We're about as far NW as it's possible to get and still be in the UK.

Get some tyres for your tatties, and throw some fleece over the top of them at night, or pop some old windows on the top :)

Went out the back this morning all happy and excited cos the sun was beaming down... intending to make a start on planting. Hung out the washing and ran back in without fingers - looked at thermometer and it said minus 6 :shock:
Ground rock solid. Thought bugger the garden and sat at the fire with a book instead :mrgreen:
