They have been around for so many years and there are thousands of them out there.
you can get a nice second hand set up for under £100. Some of the older models are super reliable and transmit good ranges on them.
you can also get boosters for them for when your not in the UK
A good Antennae is essential though, your mobile range can go from 2 - 30 miles just from using a decent one
