Hey,Hi QR
I think broadly overall I agree. If you move away form the mainstream media, and more towards the alternative forms of communication of news and events, you truly learn how wrong people are to presume the world is 'ok'. We didnt at any point 'recover' from the crash of 2008, we merely set ourselves up in some ways for a greater one further along the road.
I agree. Shortly after the end of this latest US government shutdown and debt ceiling kerfuffle there were many politicians and news anchors talking about how we have 'averted' disaster by raising the debt ceiling. All they did was kick the can further down the road...
Whichever scenario you see as most appropriate, the basic facts are that there is a significant chance of societal disruption in the near to medium future.
As we all know prepping is but another form of insurance. Even if there is just a small chance of our preps being needed it is better to have them and not need them than need them and not have them. I am of the belief, though, that the odds have changed and now there is a greater chance of SHTH than not, making prepping a logical necessity.
For me, getting my friends and family to prep is the biggest hurdle I face.As regards my wife, she agrees, but I am getting her into prepping in slow way, shall we say...
Where would be a good place for us to meet in Cumbria to discuss our prepping group and the logistics of prepping in Cumbria?
