Forgive me for asking, why would you need flares?

as i said i live in the country ( somerset levels )and last winter we had bad floods year before bad snow and last year when the floods hit people were being air lifted out was getting quite scary . i work nights when you are stuck going to and from work its normally very dark and as there are not many street lights might be handy to be seen from the air or from a high point if i get stuck to the point where i can not get myself out. i hope this answers your question
