Thorn, CO (Carbon Monoxide) not CO2 (Carbon Dioxide)
Our bodies can detect CO2 (its what causes the breathing reflex) but CO is taken up by the red blood cells and kind 'sticks' there stopping them from dumping CO2 at the lungs and taking up Oxygen.

I like Trangia type alcohol burners (or rather the pop-can ones that work the same way), or alcohol burners in general as the smell of burning hexi makes me sick.

i have just ordered these before i saw this whats the actual stove quality like? dont worry for under £4 i wont be expecting much. think for the tablets alone i will buy a couple more just in case

I have had the folding design for decades and can't get on with them.

Looking forward to getting an Emberlit, on the basis that places that do not allow camp fires might allow something held off the ground (albeit not by much). I also reckon they will hold chafing fuel nicely.
