:tinfoil Obviously with all your attention to loo rolls should the shtf you will be well prepared!

And you are right, the first step in prepping to think about what you need rather than try and anticipate what you want.
So full marks - a saving in groceries of £250 a month is quite an achievement. Thats almost £60 per week or £3000 pa.

I suffer from depression. Actually it would be more accurate at the moment to say that I am recovering from severe depression. 2013 was horrible for me, my depression got really bad but I managed to keep going to work and functioning through life. I was advised to investigate a mindful approach. I did start reading a book about mindfulness but I didn't get round to reading all of it but what I did read and incorporate was very helpful. My depression is co- to a medical condition I have and now I've had some corrective surgery I am able to recover again but I am including some of what I've learnt into my ongoing life because once a person has suffered depression they are more likely to suffer it again in the future. So I'm still getting out walking (I had a day off today and despite the wind and rain managed a good walk out in the countryside) and I am reading more and spending time with friends and family. When I do these things I can focus my mind better on the other stuff I want to do.
