I suspect it may be The Century of The Fruitbat forever, unless TP has some books waiting in the wings.

Here's a tool I carry every day

Never mind a Leatherman!
The only thing more valuable than the things you carry, is knowing how to make and maintain them.

Sounds like my dad especially if you add in a six inch nail and some gaffer tape.
I'll admit I've got a good few tools. Nowadays many are on and off my van quite often but when I was on site work I kept a set at work and a set at home . Both my father and myself were loathed to throw tools away and when he died and I cleared the house I brought quite a lot home. Having a count up I had , for example , twenty two shovels between us.

one thing i have learnt cheap tools dont last.. However sadly all the the tools on the market now appear to be cheap...
Stanley for example once sheffield made are now made abroad with a noticeable drop in quality

Its why I cruise carboots, junkshops and ebay after
Pre-owned tools. Better quality gear for the same price as the stuff made in Lang-Shan-Po
Remember, Frugal is a Prep
Perhaps we should setup a UKPrep Tool store
