Thats great! It looks easier to use without the pallet too - little ones balancing on that would be a bit of a recipe for falling-off, now I look at it.

Its lurvely!

Anything to make it more family friendly, after all if the kids are happy up there then we get to spend longer there. I can see hot summer days, cold cans of cider the kids playing and BBQ going whilst working hard.

Sounds fantastic, a plastic tub filled with water guns for the kids, a few toys to keep them happy and you have a little slice of your own heaven! :P

Good luck with the house move, I know it is a stressful time.

Thanks Danny! A question for when you return - is the allotment still going to be as easy to get to?

Hope the move is okay, its such a stressful time, hope all goes well.

GL with the move. One of the most stressful times is moving house. I have done it several times in my life, not only to new towns, but new countries. I hope I never have to do it again.

Even easier! from where our new house is it is a half mile walk along a lovely green lane track to the allotment.

We are all moved and although stressful we have now settled in. Hoping to get back to the allotment this week and will provide a progress report on things.
