She suggested some sort of fence the other day. Not sure if it was electrified or not…

She’s Perimenopausal and swings between freezing and sleeping on top of the covers.

I’m tempted to say occasionally six inches above the covers but that’s a bit cheeky…

;)
Might be worth trying a cotton filled duvet. They seem to regulate your heat well, partly because they're more breathable.
I generally sleep hot, but I get cold feet when it's not summer. I recently swapped to a Tog 3 cotton filled duvet. No more cold feet! But my top half isn't too hot. I knew this duvet was slightly warmer than my previous one, so I swapped from a synth base layer top to a cotton one to sleep in.

Give her anything she wants whenever she wants it !
I went through it all at 30 after a full hysterectomy so I've been there
Cooling gel pillows and temp sensitive duvets didn't seem to be invented then and I destroyed all my bedcovers and matress and sat crying at clay pigeon shooting on the TV
If you have a man cave it may be safer than the electric fence

Earlier in the year I bought myself in the sale a very expensive duvet that somehow knows how to regulate to your body temp .. I have to say it does work now the nights are colder it's on the bed and doing a great job
The thermal curtains are up also got in the sales earlier this year and putting insulation tape around the windows today
Charging all the chargers and many many torches I have been hypnotised into buying ..we all know who he is on here ..his fault ...saw that Northern power grid today announced be prepared for power cuts this Christmas so ...I will try ....

I don't have anything to add, I'm afraid, but I'm loving the menopause conversation

I’ve just bought her a fancy fudge doughnut from Fisher and Donaldson’s (folk from Dundee and St Andrews will agree they do the best in Scotland) and there’s a bottle of wine in the fridge for Bake Off tonight. It’s tomorrow when she starts shouting at the telly when the Traitors is on, she can’t believe that that nobody has clocked Alan yet!

She does okay. ;)

Because he's flying under the 'Oh it's just Alan' radar - I really want him to win, he cracks me up. Comedy Gold!
