I just spent a few hours sorting the kitchen cupboards. I had to chuck loads of stuff out. Stuff that I bought when I first got into this, and now realise I will NEVER eat, SHTF or not. Funnily enough it was all tinned stuff! So my stocks are rather depleted now, although at least I know exactly what's what and I can see what's in the cupboards - they're also sparkling clean again. I wish I had a pantry - cupboards are a right pain, especially corner ones, with all sorts of oddly-shaped nooks and crannies!

I highly recommend asking Santa for one  . hopefully my reply to your message got through, it kept telling me it hadn't sent it! Let me know if it hasn't and I will post in main forum.

Next week I will start on other veggies, may even do a fruity pie filling!

Have you tried this? Drink cold semi flat lemonaid (not diet version) and eat a couple of packs of Rowntrees fruit pastels (the ones covered in sugar) spread over a few hours, for some reason this works! Good luck and let us know if it helps you.

I had my Disco 2 TD5 Engine reconditioned, it has done 186,005 miles so probably a good yet expensive prep! The 1st post about Lidl is probably the best as they are great at random bits of good quality hardware at good prices as well as some decent wines! :)

Thanks Decaff! It's more or less gone by this morning - but that amount of sugar would have set it off again, to be honest, I eat very little, other than a dessertspoon of honey in my porridge ... trying to be delicate about it, I noticed the effect when I tried a bowl of cornflakes with oat milk

Plus I literally *can't* keep sweets in the house (or chocolate). Somebody eats them. I live alone. It confuses me, not :? I'm a bad person

As you may be able to tell, I'm feeling a *little* bit better this morning :)

Glad you are feeling better this morning. Sound like you have "that little man" in your home too... I put something in the cupboard, it gets eaten, no one admits eating it so we say it must be that little man again    goes back to my childhood

That's the one!

Right, I *have* to do something - enough of the recuperation, already! Off to the garden to at least put the fallen leaves into black plastic bags and encourage them to decompose.
