Ok how about this, its owned by a person on the telly and I'm more and more convinced they are a prepper.

Guess who lives there and then discuss the place objectively as a B-O-L

A single person or small group will at some point need to hook up with others if not out of necessity then loneliness. Not to say that running to the hills is a bad idea as its only us types that would stand half a chance of surviving.
taking this one step futher,
the dark clouds are gathering and you hear of a group looking for new members.
what skills could you bring to the group if you were invited to apply to join

HFW maybe :?: Looks like his garden

Knows his onions, is surrounded by like minded people each with a skill set to bring to a group, sounds like a plan to me
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

near there TD, you have to move the map across to the right- look for CHARTERHOUSE ( the nearest village to the cottages).

would have to know more about the group and maybe meet them once or twice before i signed up to anything, you know the old saying, "if you dont know them, havent met them, havent worked with them, then dont trust them! i would rather be alone anyway.

we have teamed up with a couple we know who are also preppers,
for obvious reasons im reluctant to post where.
its not the perfect spot but its quite remote and away from main roads.

neither would i without getting to know them first.

Well thats quite interesting in itself. How did you come to the conclusion that these people were the 'ones'? What criteria did you use if any and what skill or ability do they bring to the table that makes them a good fit for you??
