My preps have been planting some onion sets, and general allotment work in preparation for the spring. I created a couple of no dig raised beds last week, so they need to be left to rot down and do their thing over the next few months. IF war does kick off in Europe, or if we have some other crisis hitting us that effects food supplies, which you almost expect these days, I want to make sure I am more productive this year in the veg growing area. I have managed to plan my time so I can make sure I can get down the my allotment more regularly.
Other preps will be buying a few more staples such as second large bag of rice and pasta - I normally just have one giant bag in stock that's not being used but just in case things get freaky with Russia etc etc I want to bolster things that I use anyway. I am also grabbing some bags of wood for outdoor cooking and a bag of charcoal for the BBQ, again just in case of power issues. It's all things that will get used over the summer if no crisis in Europe happens so all I will have done is be prepared for summer BBQ season
