Wheat flour doesn't last too long anyways.

I have loads of large cardboard boxes which I have flattened and am going to take down to the lottie to cover the weeds and try to get it more under control. So I am trying (yes, very trying  ).

Hope you are all well. xx
Good to see you back! I just planted a huge floppy container with the last of my tatties. Will be ok I reckon. Still have a quarter of the allotment to fill and a water barrel project to complete. Big task after that until harvest will be to forage for wood and dry it out for winter. May cheat as well and order a few trailers worth of logs and get chopping....

 I've been vegan for six years and vegetarian for 18 years before that, for all kinds of reasons. Needless to say I won't be following the last episodes of Preppingsu's pig-rearing adventures ..... :)

Hi, Hobo!

As a chef I shudder at the thought of either lol :)

Yeah prolly not the happiest of endings for the wee porkers, but a hell of alot better than life in a commercial facility for sure, and as a confirmed carnivore I think they'll be awesome. ;)

Very true about the life they're leading.

If they were mine they'd all have names and I'd be training them to play football and dance so we could go on Britain's Got Talent .....

And on that note I must away to my bed ....

dont think i'd like to be a cyclist in London! last time i was in London in the 70's all the car drivers were mental...i expect its far worse now....we have started cycling again but we use quiet cycle tracks in the North Devon countryside. i'm looking at bugging out by bicycle( if the roads become blocked in an event) so am using our cycling trips as a training aid.

Snap! I don't drive, so my beloved pushbike is my escape route. I would bug in as long as possible, but being in London, I'd probably end up bugging out sooner rather than later. I'm lucky that I'm North enough to have a bit of a headstart if something kicked off in town and I was home. Downside is North London is a right bugger to cycle in, to the point of being off-putting. Central London cycling is funnily enough much more fun as long as you know the back routes - and it's those back routes that would get me home (walking or cycling) if I had to do a runner from work in the event of something happening in town.

I had planned to go out this weekend on a bug-out route ride, but I've been stuck in with a cold and sore throat. Bah.
