It’s rather wet outside today. Apart from sorting the fowls and cockatiels I don’t intend to do much out there. Not bad really,as I have a precious and recently met half - Sister coming to see me today. Lovely.

Yesterday I sorted tools and consumables ,so I know where I am with storage. Won’t need much.
I had a good look at emergency kit in the outside storage area, and we have plenty, and no need to worry. We have a big Hotel Bag if cr*p happens. Also stuff like water filters ,and emergency lighting ,cooking etc etc. It’s been good having a tidy up and more of a ‘compaction’ of it too.

So today ,I am going to draw up a darned good list of tasty recipes using the kind of food we like and store. Also, looking at supermarkets and cheap delivery ( after Christmas) to save time and energy. The money saving situation is now part of the job ,and quite an education to both of us . There is such a massive amount of information,it’s quite something,so it gives me something to do,rather than being bored.

jansman, how lovely to have a visit from your new half-sister! As an amateur genealogist, I really like the sound of that.

And tidying, compacting as you say, its important, as well as using money saving ways, it can be amazing.

She’s been. I’ve only known her for 18 months. I knew she existed, and then she appeared. A lovely couple of hours today. :D

Now I shall get my lists started.

Oh yes… Mrs J has just had an appointment to go and check a lump in the opposite side to the original bad one. Well, they say that trouble comes in threes, so that lump,my lump, and dads death in this space of time should now be it.

Sort me lists and get positive. ;)

Here's hoping.

My youngest nephew has come down with pneumonia (coughing too much to drive his daughter to nursery) but what's happened for you puts that in perspective.
