Food Riots -
Re: Food Riots -
Joining any riots as anti-survival behavior.
Prepping is not just buying military bags, knifes etc. It is about be ready to react in time (and before 1000s of unprepared people) and stay out of trouble. Riots (especially "food ones") don't start out of nowhere.
I don't see myself stuck 1000s miles from home in that situation.
If you have to go 1000 miles you should at least check what is the situation in the country of your destination (not on BBC website).
And if SHTF where I live food won't be my priority...

War. War never changes.

couldn't agree more. prepping is about being prepared for the unexpected(well, unexpected by the masses anyway).iSkynet wrote:Joining any riots as anti-survival behavior.

Adapt or Die, there is no middle ground.
Re: Food Riots -
Nothing at all LW I have plenty in my prepps but I dream of more than beans... And I don't mean beans with sausages, although have you tried the beans with Lincolnshire sausages? Very nice and a change from the normal mini hotdog ones.lonewolf wrote:whats wrong with tins of baked beans??

Re: Food Riots -
I prefer Branston baked beans myself, and those "sausages" in the tins with baked beans are nothing more than Hotdogs..a very inferior imported product, not condusive to my palate!!

But these new ones with Lincolnshire sausages ARE Branston beans

Re: Food Riots -
So does this all mean that if the riots are around the only supermarket with Lincolnshire sausage and Branson beans then you'd probably get the biggest stick you could find and fight your way to the front ?
Re: Food Riots -
I think if LW had eaten his 40 plus tins of beans, he would be able to clear the supermarket without a stick...grenfell wrote:So does this all mean that if the riots are around the only supermarket with Lincolnshire sausage and Branson beans then you'd probably get the biggest stick you could find and fight your way to the front ?
But if it was chocolate I would have to think about it
