Also making the point that even though I know my condition and body well there may well be some exceptional circumstances or indeed triggers that fall well outside of the norm. All things considered as it stands right now I 100% wouldn't want to be without inhalers just in case.
Sorry you did say that, it's me trying to do two things at once - tonight is making all my receipts tie up with my bank statements night. God I need a drink.

Its worth looking up the Butyeko method,or nose breathing with asthma.
I find using nose breathing really helps.

http://www.salitair.co.uk/

Someone mentioned salt pipes earlier in the thread. I took delivery of the above device earlier today and I'm looking forward to trying it later this evening.

I have read some positive online reviews and the link above includes a clip from ITV's 'This Morning' where it receives a positive review from their resident doctor, Dr. Chris Steele. After seeing that video I was keen to try it for myself and ordered mine straight away.

It occurs to me that rock salt should be easier than inhalers to come by should the SHTF. I plan to add some rock salt to my prepping supplies.

Btw, I bought from Amazon UK and got a slightly better deal than buying from the link. For £2 extra I got a second bottle of the refill salt included.

Hope you find this useful.

I would take medical advice re salt pipe-I am a brittle asthmatic and find if given saline inhalations it irritates my already twitchy lungs.
Having survived several respiratory arrests I would say you know your own body and your triggers use that as a starting point and monitor your peak flows ,get advice before it becomes a crisis and talk with your physician so you have a clear plan of action when tshtf.Good luck.
