I love all the points. I suppose in a way it is 100% dependent on the situation and how it all happens.
In the long drawn out situation i will bug in as long as possible but will also be trusting on a few bug out locations I know people cant really get away from other on this small island but my bug outs are based on camouflage and dependability of the position.
Nice example of this is a basement bug out ventilated as if a bomb shelted but on top sits a delelict burnt out house... "no food in there move on " hopefully.

Yes but burnt out isn't going to be waterproof /no roof andif it's chucking rain your basement will soon become a swimming pool
