Yes because a week or two of diclofenac is going to significantly increase youre risk of an immediate heart attack

On the other hand you might get a antibiotic related diarrhoea from anyone of those even if it's not c diff.

About a third of antibiotic courses result in some GI upset.

Anyways, it was just a comment, if you got a UTI and have nothing else but some diclofenac maybe give it a go. In all honesty tho these days people jump to the usage of medications far to quickly.

In my opinion there is almost no good usage for paracetamol except to shut someone up!

I doubt that the antibacterial effects of diclofenec will be useful for much longer, I was on it for 20 years before being switched to naproxen, that's plenty of time to begin to build up a resistance.

diclofenac is no longer available over the counter in tablet form only as an ointment that is not as useful for gout.

I was speaking to someone who works in the anti-biotic industry, she said that they are running out faster than they are saying. She said they may only have about 3 more years before they become a scarce. Im actually not to worried for myself, ive never used them even when prescribed. Ive always just left my body to deal with it, still walking around healthy as ever.

You'd think the medical industry would be keen to investigate alternatives such as phage therapy but apparently not.

Nope, cheaper just to add more filler to the recipe. Make it seem more bulky than it actually is.

This resistance problem is a real worry though, especially with the poor infection control in british hospitals. I heard colloidal silver is a good anti-biotic, I wouldn't give Diclofenac the time of day if I'm honest... last thing you want when SHTF is an NSAID (particularly Diclofenac) induced Heart Attack
I don't know if it's an anti biotic, BUT we have used the spray several times here at stashings and the wound/burns cleared very quickly and without infection. Of course, could just be a coincidence but it does now form part of the FAK in our house

Semi-related, I think acetic acid ear drops or spray are a must if you're going in unpleasant waters.

Basically vinegar to make your ears less hospitable.

yes either that or unpasteurised apple cider vinegar... I put a wee bit in with my chickens water every day for a week, once a month for its anti-bacterial effect.
