EndisNigh,
On this forum there is a section called 'General Chat'
Do you think you could take this project chat and begin it there ?
The reason is that if you look at your post count it is still at zero, you need 10 posts to get or send PMs and posts in your intro don't count.

Now I am not the font of all knowledge but I have had to factor into my family group people from 3 months to 89 years of age. I am involved with a wider UK group which all share their needs and worries via the phone or PMs on various sociopath media places lol.
I do get it wrong once in a while and this is why a forum like this is of great value, what we personally see as the way to go will often get input from others that make us wisely rethink our erstwhile thoughts and plans.

I have a tonne of time on my hands, the only two time vultures I have are prepping and running the duster around so the wife thinks I've done something around the house while she's at work other than prepping  , she's just as mad on prepping as I am by the way !
I have absolutely no objection to helping you out from the perspective of my reasons for prepping and the measures and directions I believe in and take, there are many, many variations of the theme of perepping and survivalism from many, many preppers though.
What's important is that you get your PM facility enabled so everybody can PM you when needed.
I mean, for example, something as sensible as water purification with Iodine sounds a great thing to know and you'll find many, many survivalist pages that mention it, not so great if you are purifying water for a pregnant woman !
So, if you are gonna pick some brains here I'm sure those willing to be picked would rather you do it right and get the info encoded in your game as factual as it can be. You know it may not hurt some of us here to shake the brain cells around a bit, I know I'd enjoy having to think things over !

Right, off do find the duster

Edit; the above being said as long as the MODs don't mind something a bit fun that may help out other people in the fullness of time !

I don't think it is a problem in 'General Chat', and a couple of long standing members are interested. But we don't want the whole forum turning into an advice centre for someone's business venture. Promotion of businesses is prohibited here , it ain't Gumtree!

If it drifts out of bounds it will be locked.

I totally agree,
The thing is there seems to be a great chance here to watch the thought process evolve in a person who will need to factor minor and major threats into their pre-launch project.
I guess, like myself, many, many here are on subliminal prep-mode virtually every waking moment of our lives, can't go shopping without having lists in the head for things I may find lol.
If anything it would interest me to see how the questions come as they indicate a level of thought needed to have been mulled over at each junction of potentialities.
If for nothing else it may serve to show how much of a life-style prepping and survivalism becomes and how deep in gets ingrained into our psyches !

Glad you are gonna let it run, but perhaps it should follow the 'I'm thinking this would be needed to be done, thought please ?' route. That at the very least shows a train of thought that should have been made first before critique from the greater body ensues !

Ultimately you MODs have the key to lock such a thinking project if it becomes a pain !

Keep it on general chat, and it can roll.

Done and Done Briggs,

It was after seeing Cloverfield Lane that I started working on the "Mental State" aspect of my preppers/Survivors, it gets too low and things get a little crazy...
Oh and maybe check out the moral-dilemma card game, Conflicted.

Agreed.

TBH - I find it bloody cheeky that we seem to be supplying all the resources for someone else's financial gain though.

I've never once mentioned money in any of my posts, for all you know I'm giving it away for free? But even if I wasn't do you realise that most developers work so many hours on their projects that if you were to average any profit it would actually equate to less then minimum wage? Sorry but people keep mentioning money like I'm bill gates and the truth couldn't be further from that, I'm doing this for the love of the work and the subject matter.

It all seems a bit of hot air thus far to be honest.
If our friend was that fired up with his project I think there would have been a topic started where I suggested, alas nothing thus far.
