Has anyone used any of the Karrimor SF backpacks, guys in the forces are saying good things about them and sound like they are more hardwearing than the very expencive 5.11 and Camelbak stuff. The prices seem to be about 2/3 too, many take the "rocket" side pouches too.

I keep looking, but i just modified my "spec-ops" T.H.E pac so it will take the side pouches, so im going to save my money, but if i was going to the Karrimor SF stuff would be what i'd go for.

Yes these are very expencive, but very much liked by the US service people, although to get one over here it works out about £200, i was very lucky to find mine at a bootsale in amongst a load of other bags, i saw the molle and thought as i didnt have a molle bag i thought it was worth the £4 :o

Its just a strap that goes between the buckles at the top and bottom of the pouches, so no need to sew on zips, the strap just goes through the molle.
