To Bow or to Crossbow.... that is the question
Re: To Bow or to Crossbow.... that is the question
All the equipment for the post SHTF should be first of all RELIABLE - with a £10 crossbow you ain't gonna do much me thinks. There should always be a balance when buying gear - you don't want the cheap plastic s%*t and don't need the Armani brands either
When choosing xbow vs bow I would take... both Seriously, the more useful gear you have the better and always remember about the spare parts.

Re: To Bow or to Crossbow.... that is the question
Thanks for all the info guys some great bits to look into further, i must admit i am leaning towards the recurve bow more than the compound bow lets hassle and fuss it seems.
My problem with the crossbow is that firstly weight is something that i want to keep to as little as poss, secondly i wish to have a little working parts as poss.
like i say thanks for all the info adive etc its mucho appriciated guys and gals.....
BP my ever lasting memory of the gimpy is being hit in the nuts as the guts few out the back of the weapon...not my proudest moment in life apart form that they are a good bit of kit but the minimi is what im talking about....
