I replaced the blade on my bench saw. This is critical to my Winter preps: I am processing firewood like a squirrel on speed! I have an arrangement with a woodworking neighbour to take his oak/ beech waste, and it is very high volume! I make sure he gets a couple of decent steaks on a regular basis.
Also: without starting another thread, I need some new rechargeable AA and AAA batteries. Can anyone recommend brands?

Duracel, AA 2500 mAh Batteries Pack of 4 £9.02 (37% off list)jansman wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 5:08 pm I replaced the blade on my bench saw. Duracell Rechargeable AAA 900 mAh Batteries, Pack of 4 £7.53
...would be a good comparison point.
Note that they (Duracell) also do lower mAh versions so make sure you are comparing like for like.
Energiser is another good make.
Eneloop are supposed to be good, but they are expensive. That's a type, not a brand.
or
Energizer Accu Recharge Power Plus Rechargeable AA Batteries, 4 each 42% off, £6.79

I came across this on money-saving expert. Maybe of interest to a few. I'm definitely going to look into some of the usb powered ideas as can run of a powered Bank that I can charge in work

Also I don't know if they are any good but noticed that ikea are now doing rechargeable batteries. I think the were £5 for 4 AA or AAA.
