My Mum lost her cards recently, a slightly deaf 80 year old talking on the phone to someone with an unfamiliar accent who wouldn't talk to anyone else and refused to accept any answer if they heard anyone prompting her...... I know there needs to be some safeguarding but all she was trying to do was stop the cards and get replacements sent to her home address, not transfer all her money to a 'safe' bank account

Make sure they hear the prompt of "if they won't allow you help owing to your disability mum well go open an account at "another bank" and transfer you over to them ...
