For anyone that's interested, here's a thread i started on a specialist solid fuel burning stove forum to see what those in the know thought of my plan for temp heating. The site moderator clearly frowned upon my idea, thinking it somewhat reckless and stupid (I could unwittingly and silently kill my neighbour/s  ) Least he stopped short of calling me that!

Surely if you killed your neighbours there would be less people after your preps. And if they have a yappy dog you get 2 birds with one stone. Happy days.

Our neighbour has a yappy dog. It was out the other night at 2AM and wifey was going ballistic. I got out of bed and went downstairs. When I came back she asked me what I had done. I said I had put the dog in our back garden to see how THEY liked it. ;)

That thought did cross my mind. I didn't stick that on the other forum, didn't think they'd appreciate it on a none prepper site

Yappy dogs = nightmare! I feel for you, i used to have one near me where i used to live. Swining thing.

See how they like it...noice! You reminded me of the film "Keeping Mum". She kills the neighbour's yappy dog though!

I don't dislike dogs, just this yappy little git that lives at the back of us. Serves no purpose other than to annoy me and wifey. If it is not the dog annoying us, it is the owners shouting at it all day to shut up.

Does anyone know if this is any good?

Sorry i don't BR. Only thing i can suggest is to compare the output of it to others. Looks nice though.

I've got a stovax stockton 5 which looks very similar to that and I'm very fond of mine. It's really the only heating I have as the electric storage heaters are becoming too expensive to run.
I paid a bit more for the stovax so that looks like a decent buy.
