Ayup Dave,

Our main focus is combining bush-craft, permaculture, martial arts and appropriate technology techniques and principles to help people and communities become more resilient.

So far we've done some simple workshops - things like teaching people to grow food in limited spaces, etc. - and various guerrilla gardening projects like this 'prep planting' we did earlier in the year... https://permaproject.wordpress.com/2011 ... -planting/

Work commitments have made the going slow, so we're currently exploring potential business ideas so we can put more time and energy into the project.

Be good to meet up when you're in Donny some time :)
Are you heading to Sheffield on Saturday?

Which links were broken?

Warm regards,
Warren

Hello
Sorry about the later reply. I tend to be down Doncaster way Monday nights only. Your projects look cool, in fact I'm just trying to buy some derelict land at the mo. The fallback is I'll just try to adopt it. The only thing is it's up in Scotland where it's very wet and cold! Lol been wondering what I could do with it, maybe get a greenhouse but I like your ideas. There are so much woodlands up there that plants could easily be planted without anyone noticing. I like the idea of using common ground. I spent a little time in Belarus last year, staying in villages where they're totally self sufficient in summer. We went wild strawberry picking, lovely. Their food tasted so much better than the stuff we get from supermarkets!
