Bettersafe. Next time buy pulses rather then cereals (or pulses as well as cereals), if you eat them together you get a whole protein and that way avoid having eat Spam
Could somebody enlighten me?
If you can buy all this food for five quid, how come you get people saying they can't afford to eat ??

Re: 5 POUND PREPS
Because people love convenience food as stated and brands, had a great example after i did my shop.
got all the above for around £5 nearly 3 bags.
she then nipped to tesco herself. spent £28 and had 1 bag of crap! she does not understand just cause we can afford to spend it doesn't mean we should... Let training commence

Re: 5 POUND PREPS
Bottled water, one of my pet hates
The UK has one of the best tap water standards in the world.
Bottled water is so insanely un-green, it has to be bottled at source in plastic bottles that have to be trucked there. Then trucked away to a distribution hub, sent from there (in another truck) to the shop to be bought and driven home..... All of this eats HydroCarbons
Why do people still buy water by the litre in plastic bottles??
Prepping uses I get (where else can you get a two litre bottle for 17p?) but I know someone who makes their tea with the stuff
ETA Sorry, I'm ranting
