I’ll second the sump oil ,I’ve used it for years.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

I've used plastic pallets to support some of my sheds, I can't vouch for the long term effects..... It's only been five years since I did those ones.

I used treated timber cross members and applied two coats of creocoat* to the underside of the floor (as I don't have any real creosote left, and I can't afford a five gallon 'Small holding' drum) with all the contact points painted with Bituminous paint .

After the walls were planked they got a couple of coats of This, I used black but they are loads of other colours.

*There may of been some other stuff added (cough *sump* cough)

I never thought I'd see the day when I would want to have an extra store of covid tests, but that day has come. Looks like for England, free lateral flow testing is ending: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/ ... loyers-pay
Picked up another couple of boxes so I should be OK for a while. I don't want to be the covid version of Typhoid Mary.

It does appear to be a tad short sighted to those north of the Rio Tweed. I have a reasonable amount at home and I have to be PCR tested weekly for work. Keep safe everyone.

Doesn't help when I get texts from the NHS saying someone close to me has contracted Covid and I should Test.

1. I never signed up for track and trace :tinfoil

2. I haven't seen anyone on my Mobile phone contact list for 2 months.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.
