After well over a year of false starts and putting it off, I’ve finally given up smoking :D

Thats a really big deal, Triple Sod, congratulations!

Own preps ... I've been reorganising and listing my medical preps ... all terribly basic, but its nice to know what I've actually got. And today I'm doing food, inventorying, that is.

Bought a suitcase camping gas stove and 4 cartridges, checked its working , says only use outdoors, but im sure you can use indoors if your careful ventilation, away from flammable objects etc. how long do the cartridges last ? , assuming 2 meals and two brews a day. being so high up dont want to store a lot of cartridges. Also bought multi-tool and small torch

I bought ten tins of tuna on offer, it hasn't been on offer here for ages (Denmark), just getting more expensive!!

Made Bounty bars and chocolate milk out of my food storage.

Won £54 (500kr) on a scratch card, so buying more food for storage.

Dehydrated onions and mushrooms for winter stews, and soups, yum yum. Dehydrating some apples for my ex MIL.

Bringing the lemon tree into the house today, it can't take the cold night temperatures, no lemons this year, as it froze one night in spring, and I had to prune it drastically!!

keeping a look out for pumpkins to dehydrate, as I didn't plant any this year.

Harvested my first blueberries,

Jean

- finally found a way to easily calculate 3 months food storage - so during my usual shop yesterday I ticked a few more items off - including teabags (2 for one on some PG tips brands at Sainsbo).
- contacted scoobie by pm about the emergency network, poor scoobie
- am in the middle of putting covers on airbricks ... fiddly!!! must try harder.
